In the past few years I have got interested in collecting flies made by other tiers. They don't necessarily need to be made by famous tiers although many flies pictured here are already highly collectibles. Some of them are made by friends and some of them were given to me by friends. Honestly I don't care for their value. I simply love to see how they were tied, to touch something made years ago by someone else, to enjoy the texture or the special techniques used. |
